Puerto Ayora, a 14 de septiembre de 1995
Senora
Dra Chantal Blanton
Ciudad.-
Atentamente
Sr Jose Andrade N., Presidente Del Comite
Sra. Gulnara Palacios, Secretaria

To: Dr. Chantal Blanton, City of Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz island)
The Civil Strike Committee of Santa Cruz, created by decree on September 2, 1995, and which is in its 13th day
on strike, informs you that the strike continues in effect.
We are aware that administrative personnel of the Charles Darwin (Research) Station have been using various
means to enter the workplace and conduct their
work, an attitude which this committee considers as a provocation. Besides, it is common knowledge that only persons
who reside inside the grounds of the GNPS >(Galapagos National Park Service) and CDRS
(Charles Darwin Research Station) are permitted to enter.
For the aforementioned reasons, we wish you to respect all of the resolutions of the strike committee; otherwise,
you will be responsible for any action that might occur as a result.
Sincerely,
Mr. Jose Andrade N., President of the Committee
Mrs. Gulnara Palacios, Secretary
